CCTV

We have 14 high definition CCTV cameras in strategically placed locations which network back to the Stromness data centre to enable monitoring of on-site activities.

The in-house CCTV scheme is registered with the Information Commissioners Office to assure regulatory compliance and recordings of footage or images are not retained as a matter of routine. The scheme is designed to satisfy operational requirements for control and monitoring of test site activities, visual checks of the test site environment, monitoring of lone worker safety, effective plant operation and substation security.

Recordings of construction and device installation footage may be taken for training and publicity purposes.
