News this week

Neil Kermode, Edwina Cook, Matthew Finn and Bill Edgar attended the BWEA Conference in Edinburgh this week and met with many EMEC interested bodies. Interesting presentations were heard particularly from the point of view of health and safety and the risk awareness strategies necessary for the deployment of marine energy convertors.

Whilst in Edinburgh, Edwina Cook visited the test tank facilities in the Kings Building, University of Edinburgh. Thanks to Professor Robin Wallace and Henry Jeffrey for their warm welcome.

Visitors this week included the engineer pictured, Matthias Grassow from Voith Siemens visiting the wave test site.
