The Scottish Renewables annual conference 2008 is on 19 and 20 March at the Sheraton Hotel in Edinburgh.

EMEC and the All-Energy Conference will be sponsoring a further meeting to discuss Standards for the Marine Renewable Energy Industry. This meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 20 May – the evening before the All-Energy Conference 2008 in Aberdeen. There are 8 standards to be discussed:

  • Wave Performance Testing
  • Tank Testing
  • Wave Resource Assessment
  • Project Development
  • Grid Interface
  • Design Basis
  • Reliability, Maintainability, & Survivability
  • Health & Safety
