The photograph shows some of the wave resource down at Billia Croo earlier this month!

Visiting in less clement weather on Monday were members of HIE Shetland and Shetland Islands Council. They were fortunate enough to receive reasonable enough weather to allow a fly over of both Wave and Tidal sites in the morning and a visit to Billia Croo in the afternoon. Since then the weather has deteriorated and planned operations on the Tidal site have been called off. Today saw a second fall of snow this season so here’s hoping for a white Christmas!!
