Less than two weeks remain to apply for access to the MARINET 2nd call for transnational access, offering companies and research groups the opportunity to access EMEC’s world-class scale wave and tidal energy test facilities free of charge.

The initiative covers the facility costs of a group from one country using a facility located in another country, provided that results may be published if they prove interesting (these can be tailored to fully protect intellectual property if desired).  Advice and support from experienced staff will be an integral part of the service provided at each facility, and a contribution towards transport and accommodation costs for visiting groups will also be provided.

This opportunity is open to any group with one or more individuals where the group leader and majority of group members are based in the EC or a country associated to the EC FP7 programme, i.e. companies of any size, research groups, academic groups etc.

Interested companies can apply via www.fp7-marinet.eu.

The deadline for this second call is 30th September 2012 (for testing between February-August 2013).
