Marine energy webinar

Friday, April 08, 2011 from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM

Neil Kermode is set to explain the exciting and pivotal position being played by the UK in the development of the new energy sources of wave and tidal energy in an upcoming Knowledge Transfer Network webinar.
EMEC has seen the deployment of several pioneering wave and tidal energy converters at its test sites. Neil’s presentation will explain how marine energy works, why the UK is THE place to harvest it and give an insight into this potentially important, sustainable, carbon free energy source.

You can register for this free event at http://marine-webinar.eventbrite.com/
The webinar is being hosted by the UK Energy Research Centre. The Centre’s role is to promote cohesion within the overall UK energy research effort. It acts as a bridge between the UK energy research community and the wider world, including business, policymakers and the international energy research community.
