Blog: EMEC at ICOE 2012 (17-19 Oct 2012, Dublin)

Eileen Linklater and Lisa MacKenzie are attending the International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE 2012) taking place in Dublin next week, 17–19 October.

Eileen Linklater, EMEC’s Client Relationship and Marketing Manager, is speaking at the event providing an update on the learning that has been gained through supporting the deployment of more marine energy devices than at any other single site in the world. Her talk, EMEC: innovation in action – update on learning from 11 marine energy converters in Orkney, will take place in the ‘Test and demo facilities’ session at 10am on Thursday 18th October. 4th International Conference on Ocean Energy 2012

The International Conference on Ocean Energy is the global marine energy event focused on the industrial development of renewable marine energy. Held every two years, the goal of the conference and exhibition is to share recent experiences from research and demonstration efforts. It aims to accelerate development by stimulating collaboration networks between companies and research and development centres. It also specifically targets engagement of the experience of operators in related marine and power industry sectors.
