EMEC is exhibiting at Renewable UK’s Wave & Tidal Conference and Exhibition in Belfast on 26-27th February 2014.

Oliver Wragg, EMEC’s Commercial Director will be attending the event, alongside John Griffiths (Technical Director) and Lisa MacKenzie (Marketing Officer).

Not to be missed:

Oliver Wragg is chairing the B5 plenary: Wave Technology Showcase which will hear from some of the leading wave energy companies developing projects in the UK, with updates on their technologies’ current state of play and development lessons learned. The session will include talks from EMEC’s wave clients Aquamarine Power and Pelamis Wave Power.

Further technology updates will take place in the B6 plenary: Tidal Technology Showcase including talks from EMEC’s tidal clients ANDRITZ HYDRO Hammerfest, Alstom and Bluewater Energy Services.

SI Ocean: Industry Collaboration workshop

SI OCEAN are hosting an industry consultation workshop with wave and tidal energy stakeholders on key recommendations to propose to the European Commission and Member States policy makers. The workshop will provide vital input into the Market Deployment Strategy for the wave and tidal stream industry. Participants can propose recommendations to remove barriers to deployment and accelerate the industry to commercial delivery.

It is vitally important that the industry provides endorses and provides input into the Market Deployment Strategy before it is submitted to the European Commission in April 2014. Therefore, SI Ocean invite you to take part in this free-to-attend interactive workshop in Belfast on Wednesday 26 February, from 9:30am-12pm.
