Tidal device takes the plunge
An exciting new chapter has opened at EMEC on 8 August 2006 with the start of a project to install the UK’s first grid connected tidal turbine. Doppler deployment at wave site
A doppler, or ‘current profiler’, has been deployed at the wave test site. This device is placed on the seabed by divers and makes detailed current measurments over a period of 28 days.
