Blog: Orkney marine renewables showcased on China Central Television

Orkney’s marine renewables industry has been showcased on Chinese national television to an estimated audience of up to 1.6 billion people.

In December 2014, a team from China Central Television (CCTV) visited Orkney for a report on the Meygen project and marine renewables more generally. Whilst it is mostly in Chinese, you’ll spot a few well-known faces including Eileen Linklater (EMEC’s Client Relations Manager), Christina Bristow (OREF’s Development Manager), and Mark Hamilton (Managing Director at Scotrenewables Tidal Power Ltd).
