Blog: Introducing our new Administration Officer

We would like to welcome Andrina Wick who has recently joined the EMEC team. Taking on the post of Administration Officer, Andrina is taking over the reins from Danielle Moodie who has commenced a new role at EMEC. Andrina will provide a ‘front of house’ service to visitors, and key administrative services to the organisation.

Andrina is no stranger to the EMEC offices as she came to secondary school here in the late 1970’s prior to the academy building being converted into offices. Following school she worked at Stockan’s oatcake factory for 24 years before going on to work in the office and control room at Stromness Police Station for 8 years. Keen for a new challenge, Andrina is looking forward to working at EMEC and in the exciting renewable energy sector. Outside of work, Andrina is a skilled seamstress having designed and made the dresses for the Stromness Shopping Week Queen and assistants for over 25 years.

Meanwhile, having worked at EMEC since December 2012, Danielle has taken the role of PA to the Executive Team. In this new role, Danielle will provide essential administrative support to EMEC’s Executive Team and Managing Director.
