Blog: EMEC shortlisted for Scottish Renewables Green Energy ‘Export’ award
We’re delighted to have been shortlisted in the Export category for the Scottish Green Energy Awards. As we strive to develop a globally successful marine energy industry, we have sought to share our knowledge and experience though delivering consultancy and building relationships with other countries. We have created an international open water test centre network bringing together organisations from around the world to share their experience and challenges, and have facilitated the development of international standards for marine energy to foster market development and create additional export opportunities for Scotland.
We’re up against two leading renewables consultancies, including local firm Aquatera. It’s also great to see two other local renewables companies – Green Marine and Leask Marine – in the running for the Best Supplier category.
Wave Energy Scotland are rightly up for the Best Innovation Award for the great work they’ve been doing encouraging innovation within the wave energy industry.
And our collaboration partner FloWave have been nominated for best photography.
The finalists will be announced at the Awards Dinner on 3 December 2015. Watch this space!
