EMEC will be attending Scottish Renewables Marine Conference & Exhibition in Inverness on 23rd and 24th September 2014.

Programme:
Day 1:
- Oliver is a panellist in Plenary 2: Marine Energy – The Global Outlook, looking at the marine energy industry around the world and Scotland’s place within it.
Day 2:
- Max is chairing Plenary 4: Financing Innovation. Financing the development of wave and tidal technologies remains a key challenge for the sector. Has the time now come to radically overhaul the way the marine energy sector is funded?
- Neil is chairing Plenary 5B: Grid – The Missing Link?, exploring recent attempts to tackle grid issues, and asking whether we can ‘work smarter’ across Europe to resolve problems here in Scotland while heading off risks around the rest of the EU.
