FORESEA

The €11m FORESEA project brings together Europe’s leading ocean energy test facilities to help demonstration of tidal, wave and offshore wind energy technologies in real-sea conditions. Led by EMEC, the FORESEA (Funding Ocean Renewable Energy through Strategic European Action) project will provide funding support to ocean energy technology developers to access Europe’s world-leading ocean energy test facilities.

The FORESEA consortium – EMEC, Ocean Energy Europe, SmartBay Ireland, SEM-REV and the Dutch Tidal Testing Centre – are hosting an exhibition stand at Ocean Energy Europe to provide further information and updates on this vital programme. Pop past for a chat, or contact nic.wallet@emec.org.uk or Danielle.moodie@emec.org.uk if you’d like to know more.

Announcement: The project will be announcing the awards from its first call for proposals during the conference. To mark the announcement, delegates are invited to join the FORESEA project at a Drinks Reception from 17:30 on Tuesday 8 November in the exhibition hall.

The FORESEA project is funded by the Interreg NWE (North-West Europe) programme, part of the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund).
