Interested in studying for your postgraduate degree with EMEC?

EMEC acts as an industry sponsor and supervisor for a range of postgraduate degrees.

Our postgraduate opportunities span technical and social sciences, and can cover wave and tidal energy, green hydrogen and wider energy system development.

 

Postgraduate industry pathways

There are various pathways to getting a postgraduate degree including:

Energy Technology Partnership: funded by the Scottish Government.

  • Academic partners: University of Aberdeen, University of Glasgow, Edinburgh Napier University, Robert Gordon University, University of Dundee, University of the West of Scotland, University of St Andrews, Heriot Watt University, The Glasgow School of Art, University of Strathclyde, University of Edinburgh, University of the Highlands and Islands, Glasgow Caledonian University and University of Stirling.

IDCORE: an EPSRC funded doctoral training centre.

  • Academic partners: The University of Edinburgh, University of Exeter, Strathclyde University, and the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS).
