Vacancy: Project Marketing Officer

EMEC is the world’s leading test facility for wave and tidal energy converters.
We are committed to supporting the transition to net zero and are also pioneering developments in green hydrogen and island energy systems.

Project Marketing Officer

£23,092 – £25,658  plus contributory pension 

We are looking for a Project Marketing Officer to deliver marketing and communications for EMEC projects.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing communications plans to support delivery of EMEC-led work packages for ocean energy and hydrogen projects. This will involve regular liaison with project partners to coordinate communications deliverables and activities covering PR, digital, events, media engagement and content creation. Regular reporting and presenting on progress is required.

Educated to degree level in a marketing or related subject, you will have excellent communication skills verbally and in writing, and be diligent with an eye for detail.

Experience with public speaking, PR, digital marketing and event management is advantageous.

Preferably based in Orkney, this is a full-time, permanent post, however we would welcome both full and part-time applications.
