  • Visits this week. We were pleased to welcome the German Consul General for Scotland, Herr Wolfgang Moessinger, accompanied by the German Consul in Orkney, Mr Sinclair Robertson. Please see the photograph above, Herr Moessinger is on the left.
  • We were also happy to welcome Anthony Knopp from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology accompanied by members of the HIE team from Inverness and Kirkwall. Both visitors enjoyed their visit to EMEC and Orkney so much, in spite of the winds and the 9 metre waves at Billia Croo, that further, leisure trips are planned!
