Highlands and Islands Enterprise are recruiting Project Managers for Wave Energy Scotland (WES).

Project Manager

Location: Highlands and Islands
Salary: £38,391-£48,151
Closing date: 15 July 2015
Interview date: 24 July 2015

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in this new entity and to ensure its success. Candidates should have significant project management experience, an understanding of the needs and challenges associated with development of new technology, and the ability to develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will also be expected to demonstrate an understanding of the wave energy sector, and have excellent team-working, presentation and communication skills. A current driving licence would be desirable.

Wave Energy Scotland

Wave Energy Scotland has recently been established by Highlands and Islands Enterprise to support the development of wave energy technologies in Scotland. As a Scottish Government funded initiative, Wave Energy Scotland has been tasked with bringing together the best engineering and academic minds to collaborate on innovative projects that will accelerate the development of wave technologies.
