Blog: New addition to EMEC team

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Danielle Moodie, who recently joined the Commercial/Administration Team at EMEC. Taking on the role of Administration Assistant while Frances Flett is on maternity leave, Danielle will support the Administrator and other staff members by providing key administrative services to the organisation, as well providing ‘front of house’ services to visitors to EMEC.

Originally from Orkney, Danielle moved ‘sooth’ in 2001 and continued her schooling in Edinburgh. In 2010, she graduated with an MA (Hons) in Modern European Languages and European Union Studies from Edinburgh University and went on to spend a year in Durban, South Africa working for the eThekwini Municipality in an events and project management role as part of the European Voluntary Service (a European Union youth development initiative). However she always wanted to move back to Orkney some day and is enjoying being back despite the dramatic drop in temperature.
