Blog: MARINET launch 6th call offering access to EMEC test sites
MARINET has launched the sixth and final call offering free-of-charge access to leading European test facilities for marine renewable energy R&D: a unique opportunity for SME’s, researchers and entrepreneurs to take advantage of state-of-the-art interlinked infrastructures and associated expertise.
EMEC’s facilities in Orkney are included in the call enabling developers to access funding which would cover EMEC berth fees, and a subsidy for travel and subsistence, for using our facilities.
If you have any real sea testing needs (device or component), please get in touch. The application form is relatively simple and we are happy to review this before submission to the MARINET review panel.
Contact: info@emec.org.uk
Deadline for receipt of applications is: 2nd March 2015
MARINET is a network of research centres and organisations that are working together to accelerate the development of marine renewable energy technologies. It is co-financed by the European Commission and offers periods of access for testing and demonstration. For more information and eligibility criteria visit: www.marinet.eu
