Blog: Focused review of marine energy at Ocean Business 2015

A ‘Special Session on Marine Renewable Energy’ looking to review the contribution of the NERC–DEFRA funded research and knowledge exchange programmes is taking place in Southampton next week as part of the Ocean Business 2015 conference.

Our Research Director, Jennifer Norris, will be attending the conference taking place at the National Oceanography Centre (NOC), Southampton, on 14-16th April. To arrange a meeting with Jenny at the conference, please contact info@emec.org.uk.

The marine energy session is taking place from 1300-1800 on Thursday 16th April. The event is free to attend, although registration is required as places are limited. The session will review the contribution of the NERC–DEFRA funded research and knowledge exchange programmes to the development of novel technology, tools and methods, and consider the needs for the industry going forward. The full programme is detailed below.

Join the session via webinar at EMEC: If you’d like to attend but can’t make it to Southampton, please join us at EMEC where we’ll be linking into the session via a webinar. Feel free to pop along if you are interested in some or all of the topics being discussed (see below programme).
