ICOE Workshop: International open-water test centres

In collaboration with FORCE, EMEC held a workshop for international open-water test centres in Halifax, Canada, on 7th November 2014, 0930 – 1400. The event followed the International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE).
Aim:
To bring together international open-water test sites, to build on EMEC’s Global Ocean Energy symposium held in 2013, to establish the global network focused on collaborative opportunities for test centres in support of the developing ocean energy industry.
Objectives:
- Share updates from the last 12 months on progress and challenges from facilities around the world
- Provide a forum to discuss key R&D topics
- Identify actions to forge relationships and knowledge transfer between test sites
