EMEC Groups
EMEC currently facilitates three groups:
- Monitoring Advisory Group (MAG): This is a vehicle to formally extend and coordinate the ongoing monitoring discussions EMEC has with regulators and their consultees. Advisors are asked to contribute on specific methods in relation to the devices deployed at EMEC, including both device-specific and generic issues, and taking full account of the scale of deployment at these test sites. The group also provides an ongoing feedback vehicle as monitoring processes are put in place.

This group will meet formally every six months to discuss, analyse and guide ongoing research involvement. The group will facilitate the two way interaction between EMEC and the research stakeholder community.

At a local level, EMEC aims to make best use of its test facilities by coordinating a joint approach to industry-related research needs, as guided and informed by the EMEC-DRF. EMEC will coordinate, Chair and facilitate this Forum, and will encourage close liaison between the EMEC-DRF, the EMEC-RAG and its dedicated Monitoring Advisory Group (EMEC-MAG).
